Creating Your First QR Code

Creating a QR code on QR Node takes under a minute. Follow these steps to generate your first one.

Step 1 — Sign in or create a free account

Go to qrnode.net and register for a free account. No credit card is required. The free plan gives you unlimited static QR codes and 2 dynamic ones.

Step 2 — Open the QR code creator

From your dashboard, click the 'New QR Code' button in the top-right corner. This opens the creation form.

Step 3 — Choose Dynamic or Static

• Dynamic: generates a shortlink you can update later. Choose this for most use cases.
• Static: encodes your URL directly. The destination is permanent.

Step 4 — Enter your destination URL

Paste the full URL you want the QR code to point to (e.g. https://yourwebsite.com/offer). Make sure the URL includes the https:// prefix.

Step 5 — Customize the design (optional)

Choose fill and background colors, pick a dot pattern, and optionally upload a logo to embed in the center. Higher error-correction levels let you add a larger logo while keeping the code scannable.

Step 6 — Download and use

Click 'Create QR Code'. Your code is generated instantly. Download it as PNG (for digital use) or SVG (recommended for print, since it scales without quality loss).
