Terms of Service

3.1 Account Creation: You must create an account to use certain features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Security: You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Account Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.

4.1 Free Plan: The Free plan includes 10 dynamic QR codes with a 14-day expiration limit and unlimited static QR codes.

4.2 Paid Plans: Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) and renew automatically unless canceled.

4.3 Payment: You agree to pay all fees associated with your chosen plan. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice.

4.4 Upgrades/Downgrades: You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes will be reflected in your next billing cycle.

5.1 Plan Limits: Each subscription plan has specific limits on the number of dynamic QR codes, shortlinks, landing pages, vCards, link-in-bio pages, and file-hosting storage. These limits are clearly stated on our Pricing page. Exceeding a limit will prevent new item creation until you upgrade or delete existing items.

5.2 Prohibited Uses: You may not use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Distribute malware, viruses, ransomware, or other harmful code
• Infringe on the intellectual property or privacy rights of others
• Engage in phishing, spam, social engineering, or fraudulent activities
• Link to, host, or distribute illegal, obscene, defamatory, or hateful content
• Upload executable files (.exe, .dmg, .apk, .bat, scripts, etc.) through the file-hosting feature
• Create landing pages or vCards intended to impersonate another individual or organisation
• Use QR codes, shortlinks, or landing pages to deceive users about the nature or destination of content
• Harvest personally identifiable information from end-users through QR Node–hosted pages without appropriate disclosure
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or security measures
• Resell, sublicense, or repackage access to the Service without written permission

6.1 Your Content: You retain all rights to the content you create or upload through the Service, including QR codes, destination URLs, landing page content, vCard information, link-in-bio configurations, and uploaded files. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and serve your content solely to provide the Service.

6.2 Content Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all content you publish through the Service, including the destinations of QR codes and shortlinks, the copy and media on landing pages and vCards, and any files you host. QR Node does not review content before publication but reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

6.3 Our Property: The Service, including all software, designs, text, graphics, and other content, is owned by QR Node and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

6.4 Hosted Content Availability: Dynamic QR codes, shortlinks, landing pages, vCards, link-in-bio pages, and hosted file URLs are active for as long as your account is in good standing. Upon subscription cancellation or downgrade, items exceeding your plan limits will be paused or deactivated according to your plan terms.

7.1 Availability: We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance and updates may cause temporary service interruptions.

7.2 Modifications: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

9.1 By You: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

9.2 By Us: We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you violate these terms or engage in prohibited activities.

9.3 Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your access to the dashboard will cease. Dynamic QR codes will stop redirecting, shortlinks will deactivate, landing pages and vCards will become inaccessible, link-in-bio pages will be taken offline, and hosted files will be removed. We may permanently delete your data after a reasonable retention period (maximum 90 days).

10.1 "AS IS" Service: The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

10.2 Limitation: To the maximum extent permitted by law, QR Node shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

10.3 Maximum Liability: Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
