Creating Your Digital Business Card
How to set up a vCard with your contact info, social links, and styling.
A digital vCard is a hosted contact page that people can view by scanning a QR code or tapping a link. Unlike a printed card, it can be updated anytime without redistributing physical materials.
Creating a vCard
- From your dashboard, go to 'vCards' → 'New vCard'.
- Enter your name, job title, company, contact details, and bio.
- Add social media profile links (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, GitHub, etc.).
- Choose a theme color and layout style (Modern, Classic, or Minimal).
- Set a custom URL slug (e.g. qrnode.net/vc/john-smith) — optional but recommended.
- Click 'Create vCard'. Your card is live immediately.
Generating a QR code for your vCard
On the vCard creation screen, toggle 'Generate QR Code' before saving. You can customize the QR code color and style, and download it from the vCard detail view after creation.
Tip: Use the 'Modern' layout with a high-contrast theme color for the best first impression on mobile. Preview your card before sharing.
