Uploading and Hosting Files
How to upload a file to QR Node and get a permanent hosted URL and QR code.
File hosting lets you upload documents, images, audio, and video to QR Node's servers. You get a permanent URL you can share directly, and an automatic QR code for physical materials.
Uploading a file
- From your dashboard, go to 'Files' → 'Upload File'.
- Drag and drop your file or click to browse.
- Add an optional name and description for your own reference.
- Click 'Upload'. The file uploads and a hosted URL is generated.
- Download the QR code from the file detail view to link physical materials directly to the file.
Accessing and sharing the URL
The hosted URL is shown on the file detail page. Copy it to share in emails, links, or QR codes. The URL is permanent as long as your account is active.
Tip: Use file hosting for PDFs linked from QR codes on printed materials. When you update the document, re-upload and replace the file — your QR code keeps working without reprinting.
