File Upload Errors
Common reasons a file upload fails and how to resolve each one.
Error: 'File type not supported'
Only PDFs, common image formats, audio files, and video files are accepted. If you are uploading an unsupported format, convert it first — export to PDF for documents, MP3 for audio, or MP4 for video.
Error: 'Storage quota exceeded'
Your account has reached its storage limit. To free up space, delete files you no longer need from the Files dashboard. To get more storage, upgrade your plan.
Upload stalls or times out
- Check your internet connection and try again.
- Try uploading from a different network (e.g. switch from WiFi to mobile data).
- If the file is very large, compress it before uploading.
- Try a different browser — Chrome and Firefox are recommended.
